It may be a matter of "urban legend" but their are stories here in the U.S. about people being caught doing awful things w/ the dearly-departed but when they go to arrest them, there is found to be no state necrophilia law.
According to wikipedia, only 8 states have laws against it. Though, this is wrong as they don't list Florida, which has one. Nor Minnesota.
