new James Bond movie: overrated or what?!

Well I liked it...I'm sure I'm not alone. The bloody cinema has been sold out most nights of the week so I doubt too many people share your sentiment. I cant help but feel Daniel Craig would look more at home beating up Pierce brosnan than being Bond himself but I got my Bond fix until the next one comes along in 2 years time.

Yes. The BBFC cut it though to make it a 12 certificate. I'm sure there will be a special directors cut available on R18 though.

I think this was a great Bond movie, and this is probably the first to actually come close to portraying Bond as the way he is mean't to be. It also succeeded in bringing the Bond character up to date and introduce it to a new audience.

Easily one of the top movies this year.

Must agree this is the best Bond yet.Highlights are some great chases,fab locations and good characters.The main lady looks great in her dress in the Casino part..worth the ticket for that alone!Some good twists too...

Yeah, Warren, but Borat is a freak of a movie, once in a blur moon does a movie cost this little and turn in so much box office. Broccoli's and MGM/Sony will be very happy with Bond's box office, regardless of the production's and marketing budget.
