BGAFD Event: Dress Code

Post by Wendy »

I'm still getting e-mails about the BGAFD Event 'dress code' so here it is again.

I suggest that 'smart casual' would be appropriate. So, not your decorating gear nor your morning suit. Before you leave ask yourself a couple of questions

1. Would I throw me out if I turned up looking like that?
2. Do I look like a scruff bag?

If the answer is yes to either of these questions I suggest you get changed :-)

Kisses,

Thank fuck I haven't sent off my cheque yet then. As I said, O-Bar have a retarded provincial (ie non-proper London) outlook towards dress code. I don't do smart fucking casual. I didn't turn up at the Park Lane Hilton (free food and champers etc) when I got nominated for a BAFTA 'cause of their fucking dress code, so I certainly won't be turning up for this. Still, good luck with it all and all the best to everyone going. Will photos (with suitable black bars) be posted somewhere?

Bloody Hell!! You get asked a question (7 times), you answer it even though you've got better things to do, and you still get some smart-arse moaning at you. I give up, just come dressed in what the fuck you like. No doubt I'll get posts about my hissy fit now!!

Well said Wendy!!!!

Alas this forum has gone to the clowns, the antics of JJ & Magoo seemed to have encouraged everybody to try their hand at being funny.Don't give up your day job boys.

All bullshit aside I'm sure your post has reached the members who were unsure.

Cheers

I agree with you totally Wendy, Don't take any crap of anyone. If it wasn't for you and all your non-sop hard work and effort that you have put in, the event wouldn't even be taking place anyway....
Sometimes people need to remember that...
THANK-YOU for everything you have done....;-)

Love Lay

Yet JJ and Magoo remain the least funny posters I have ever known to any forum anywhere in the world, anywhere, full stop, everywhere. How ironic!

Eh? How? I wished people all the best with the event, etc. I just don't agree with dress codes and all my clothes are scruffy and tramp-like. That is the way I choose to live my life, and I'm sorry if this annoys or upsets people - it's not intended to.
