Are you sure these people are Lamas?

You see, a Lama is, strictly-speaking, a Tibetan religious teacher and not simply a Tibetan monk.

Ah, that is a llama, not a Lama.

As, to the best of my knowledge, a llama has yet to publicly express its views on metaphysical matters, I shall restrict myself to pointing out that there are considerable physiological differences between the two.
