To whom it may concern,

well after last week's thread reference to a supposed email I had sent in private to a girl (if she even exists?) called Geri I would like to clear things up and give my response after having a few people within the industry asking me what that was all about.

I received an email (one of many) asking how to get into the industry etc. By this alias of Geri and asking what the risks were.
I sent a very honest response which included what some of the risks were and gave her some advice that she should possibly stay studying as the industry of porn and adult work is usually very short lived etc.
This person, whether it be Geri if she is even real, of if actually it was just some porn fan pyscho decided they would copy this email (if it was even the same email?? As I never got to see the thread due to working that day, and by the time I did look when one of my girlfriends called me, the lovely people here at bgafd took the thread down due to the illegal implications of copying a private message and putting it in the public domain).
So there you go, you get asked for a favour and you gladly oblige and then are stabbed in the back for it.
Fair? I dont think so.

So for all you lovely people who mention that I should maybe, I think the quote is "shitting myself" due to this new girl Geri, far from it. Bring her in the industry! I'd love to do a scene with her, that is, as I say again, if she is actually a real person! Geri I would love for you to post here on the bgafd and maybe we could even do an AGA scene together.

I would have thought that telling her the risks was a sensible way of Renee helping. What sort of help would Renee have been if she had made it all sound lovely and exciting and glamorous?

Do not diss Renee, having met a few people from within this industry I can honestly say that she is the most vibrant, honest, open, genuine and friendly person you could wish to meet. Whether or not the original e-mail specifically asks about risks, a reply from a genuine and thoughtful individual would contain references to down sides as well as the ups. What did you expect a reply simply saying drop out of education and take up porn?

I read that post and there was no mention of Renee Richards name until someone deciphered it was her from the 'Big Kisses' sign off.

The email reply by Renee was honest and that informing someone of the pitfalls is a godd thing. I just think Renee didn't put it across as well she could have and that's where the misunderstanding could have occurred.

I'm sure if Renee had sugar coated it and then a girl found out it wasn't like that, there would be a post saying 'I was lied to and told it would be glamourous but.....'
