I love the way he refers us all as Europeans. Er, excuse me isn't that where most Americans are from? Isn't that what your history and language is built on.

He also needn't kid himself about the sympathy thing after 9/11. Many people I know said they had it coming. The Americans forget all the atrocities they inflicted in the past. But when anybody does it against them, it's terrorism.

Generally okay, but it's very 'black and white' which is oversimplified. To say 'all' English, Germans, Europeans or whatever hate America isn't true. Surely hate is too strong a word, and what you have is significant numbers of English, German, Italian, French etc people questioning what they're doing. So, if we question, challenge or critique America that amounts to 'hate' does it .... that seems to be the implication.

Also that stuff about 'after 9/11 we had the opportunity to be the most popular people on earth' is distasteful. It's not about popularity ratings or feeling 'loved'.
