"I really miss these old variety shows. There used to be a time when television presented some actual culture. Real, genuine high culture. Everything has become so dumbed down, turning everyone into stupid peasants.
This is such a time capsule of a lost era, and I really miss that. I miss authentic showmanship and real musicians playing live on television. Instead, we're stuck with robotic Barbie and Ken dolls."

Whilst I applaud the general sentiments expressed............a Liberace Show?
