Trying to find some info on a story I saw on Blue Peter (ahem)

It was the story of a Lady of the Manor who took up flying in her 70s (if memory serves) Who one day took off for a flight and was never seen again.

Sorry not much to go on and to be honest im abit drunk,but any help would be really appreciateded.

Thankyou,but im afraid thats not the one. But your right though it has been on Blue Peter (look its not my fault,it happens to be on when im eating me tea)

Sorry cant add alot more than before. The only other thing im pretty sure of is that she was in a "Tiger Moth" and she was flying over the south coast when she vannished.
