Enemy Mine

Just bought another DVD today.

Any sci-fi buffs remember the excellent 'Enemy Mine' starring Dennis Quaid and Louis Gossett Jr?

I watched it this afternoon and totally enjoyed as much as I did twenty years ago (visuals are still top notch too).

Was it not just a sci-fi remake of a war film with Robert Mitchum and Toshiro Mifune?

I recall it being okay, but not one I'd rush back to.

I personally think what set it apart was the character interaction and dialog.
