Fantastic 4 and the Rise of the Silver Surfer

Post by Ace »

An excellent film with wank factor in the shape of Jessica Alba.
Great special effects including River Thames having the life sucked from it.
A vast improvement of the original F4 film with the dependable Michael Chiklis excelling as usual as The Thing.
I MUST see this on the big screen, my copy is good, and very watchable, but you need a big screen to really apprciate the effects

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

Stop the presses! Dodgy pirate copy of film doesn't live up to watching it on the big screen. Never mind, at least the money is going to a good cause.

Hopefully better than the first, but like all the others so far this summer there's no real sense of anticipation about it so it'll be interesting to see how it goes. The recent merely okay-ish outing for Spiderman (Venom wasted, sadly) didn't hamper its business mind.

Transformers is the one to watch, apparently.
