Why x 1000! The first film is a classic of the genre and one of my favourites Horror movies of all time. When will they learn not to mess with the classics? Texas Chainsaw remake was shit and lacked the gritty look and sublety of the original, Dawn Of The Dead remake was too glossy and felt more like a Michael Bay action movie, running zombies? Please! Plus Rob Zombie is a horrible filmmaker. One to avoid methinks.

Give it another 20 years Kramer these movies will be ramde again. You know why? Because it made money the first time around and future audiences are so fickle they wont both with the old versions which is why the studios greenlight the remakes.

Its terrible but sadly a very real truth. Scorsese said it himself when he remade Cape Fear. Thouggh if Spielberg had let him have his way I'm sure the ending would have been very different.
