This film raises good debate for sure.

I am lucky enough or maybe unlucky for some to have a copy of the 156 min cut of the film which is as far as I know the longest cut of the film available to buy and even that has now become quite rare to find.

The new edition talks about a pre release cut of the film, whether this is the 156 min cut or even a longer cut of the movie is yet to be confirmed but this is a definite buy for me because it is an interesting film if a little hard to swallow (no pun intended).

For anyone who has seen the film they probably think its the biggest pair of pants ever to grace the cinema screens. It isn't a great film but it also isnt a terrible movie, I have seen worse and Malcolm McDowell's performance is worth a look. McDowell did say once he hated the original cut of this film but with himself and Helen Mirren doing Audio Commentaries this is a huge bonus to get there thoughts on the troubled and controversial making of the film.

The orgy scene is definitely horny which shows even today one of the best intense BJ scenes I have ever watched.

If "9 Songs" can get past the censors im sure Caligula can

If and when it comes out I'd like to get a copy of it myself. I've seen most of it in the early 1990s. Somebody I knew got all of us together and we watched it. Man, all I can tell you it was THE most immoral AND entertaining X-rated film I ever saw. The gay scenes were enough but if you can get by the beastiality, YOU HAVE BEEN MADE A REAL MAN!!! !wink!
