I thought proper Rarebit was supposed to have ale mixed with the cheese.
So by analogy pizza should have Chianti in it.

I've been telling people this for years - but no one's listened! They've been hoodwinked into paying a small fortune for basically a cheese and tomato toasted sandwich.

I'd hardly call 89p 'a small fortune'.
But then I'm known the world over as a wild spendthrift, who thinks
nothing of splashing out on THREE bottles of Mackeson stag-nights.
Easy come, easy go, that's what I always say.

When spent on a bit of bread, a tiny scrape of cheese and miniscule drop of tomato flavoured sauce, I'd say 89p was a small fortune!

Where I live that would get you the deposit on a small dollop of lard, with
six weeks to pay at 50p a week.
