Tribe.

Post by Trumpton »

A new series of this excellent show started last night. Once again the ever cheerful Bruce Parry (ex SAS apparently), was in northern Brazil. As part of his 'getting to know' this tribe, he endured having fresh ripe peach juice squirted into his eyes, had stinging nettles rubbed over his body, whipped with bamboo canes and had frog poison jabbed into his vein - which make him vomit!! This "treatment" made him fit and strong for the spider monkey hunt. He was shown how to use a blow-pipe, but out of 20 darts blown he only had 2 hits.

When he reinacted Scott's fateful antarctic expedition it was said that he had been in the SAS.

He drunk the blood straight out of the vein !puke! He also ate the congealed blood !puke!

Old wobble-bottom Mears. Claims to be an authority on outdoor survival where a person could live on ants, bugs and roots. But only if they've had gorged themselves on a giant Mears fry up the night before.
