Help on downloading videos

Normally if a download is available you can left click and save target as? That's about as IT as I get!

There's a free video in a webpage however, you have to be connected to the internet to watch it, is it called embedded or streaming?

What I'd like to know is if there's a way to download the video to my hard drive so that I can view off line?

smithy if your watching the stream in media player for example,you should be able to click file on menu bar then save/save as to where ever you decide

Thanks for that, but no it's not in a media player it's just in the middle of a webpage, you know where you just press play and you watch it.

Thanks for that tip, have watched videos like that before so it's worth knowing!

To save a webpage on your computer
In Internet Explorer, click the Page button, and then click Save As.
Navigate to the folder you want to save the page in.

To save all of the files needed to display this page, including graphics, frames, and style sheets, select Webpage, complete. This option saves each file in its original format.

To save just the current HTML page, click Webpage, HTML only. This option saves the information on the webpage, but it does not save the graphics, sounds, or other files.
To save just the text from the current webpage, click Text File. This option saves the information on the webpage in text format.
