Why is it that most people on tv and in general say things like this in a converstion or an interview,

2,you know
3,end a line with so......


what the fuck is going on ???
has straight talking gone?
why does everybody do it ?

Some people have difficulty being articulate

Personally i prefer to remain silent while I rattle around in the brain waiting for the right info to come to me

My biggest beef is the uttering of 'You Know' before the speaker is about to tell you something that 'you don't know'

Because it's hard to ad-lib on live TV if you're sincere but inexperienced,
and the teaching of rhetoric [in the original sense of the Ancient Greek art
of public oratory rather than the mere use of sophistry to win a pointless
logomachy] has all but died.
Couple that with a generally poor lack of education in the basics of English,
and the reslut is inevitable.
