I caught a glimpse of a bit of one episode and thought, what a load of crap!
Reading some articles about the series it was described as "loosely based on historical events".
The bit I saw had the actors going around doing their best mockney-cockney accents, and I'm convinced I heard one actor say "slaaag".
Needless to say, I won't be watching any more.
The Tudors (TV Series).
Re: The Tudors (TV Series).
Its piss poor. I think the BBC saw an opportunity after 'Rome' TV Series and decided to chance their arm.

Haven't watched it.
But from the trailers I've seen, it looks to me to be too full of pretty-boy actors to be realistic.
