ipod/mp3 question

Hi all can someone tell me if mp3 players with a screen show album artwork like an i pod does.
All my music is stored on WMP and if i want to put it on an ipod i have to convert all the tracks to a different format...so i've been told.
To avoid this i thought about getting a regular mp3 player but would still like album artwork to be displayed.

I would guess it depends on what type/make Mp3 player you get ?.
