What's the big deal magoo? !laugh! It's only a goodnight thread.

Tell you what--I'll show you what I mean.

Say I don't like threads with one or two comments, like you calling Liz a wanker, and he calls you a poof. Then there's a similar thread underneath where jj calls you a masterbating monk, and you call him a peadophilic ponce. And then there's one underneath where jj calls Liz a twat, and liz calls him a fat cunt, and then theres another underneath that where liz calls you and jj gay lords, and you both call him a freak, and then there's another thread where jj says 'eh?' and you reply 'what', and Liz says 'exactly', and then theres another thread where..................and on it goes.

We end up with 10 threads of bollocks. Some of it funny bollocks, and some of it just bollocks. They take up the whole first page.

In contrast, Wazza's 400+ threads are just one thread, leaving the whole board to other funnier/more important threads.

Now, I'd much prefer one long thread of 'eh?', 'yeah', 'wanker', cunt', gay', 'shitface', 'monkeyfucker', peado', 'twat', tosser', 'what', 'who?', 'you', 'me?' than 14 threads of utter shiiiiite because one thread is easier to ignore than 14 threads. I remember a few times having to click the 'older threads' link to find something worth replying to.

It's ONE thread Mags! Just ignore the fooker! !thumbsup!

Well it would if you were on a flat view

Anytime a thread gets over a hundred its a nuisance if your not contributing/reading it

Easily ignored like most things if your in the right mood

Any idea who this is oohing & aahing?

I just looked.....cheers for that. I will pass it on to my mam (cos I aint cooking it!). The boiling water thing sounds about right has you can do something similar to get rabbit skins off. I should imagine it should be done before pricking the skin because the heat makes air expand (hurray for physics!), and if you prick the skin first, the expanded air will escape out of the holes in the skin rather than pushing the skin away from the flesh.

I'll definitely be posting boxing day with my verdict...lol.

It's actually made Christmas something to look forward to. Having turkey again just makes it another boring xmas. If a goose makes xmas exciting then I must have a very sad life........lol.

I thought you didn't do youtube links, being on dial-up?

Did you get the wireless broadband sorted?

That was a monkey wasn't it?

Got the wifi modem but after 1 day of absolutely piss poor speeds and a joke of a help desk I took lizards advice and connected the ethernet cable from modem to computer via the PC card 100/10mb

Pointing the browser towards the routers homepage wuld be the part I've skipped unless my mr handyman utility has somehow optimised the connection

11GBs of downloads in a fortnight says something is working ;-)

The wireless connection would probably be 5-10 times faster than your internet connection so I don't know why you had trouble there.

Maybe a firewall thing? Or just set up the modem incorrectly?

Anyway, welcome to frustration free internet browsing!

It was doing speeds like 10kps to 30kps,way faster than dial-up but on an 8mb link i thought it aint right

The tech left the modem right next to the computer and the help desk said that if its within 1metre you get feedback distortion

Tried their solutions for an hour and got no improvement
5 minutes of lizards soution and the speed went through the roof

help desks...helpful as tits on a bull

Now all i need is a memory upgrade...256RAm sucks..even my pentium 4 1.8 sucks

But it good to be surfing problem free, apart from those 3 viruses and 2 trojans that hitched a ride last week, bloody cheek ;-)
