'tis that time (nearly)

Post by BeestonBoy »

Hey y'all

Not sure if this will be of any interest to any one but it may just help some one.

Now my Gran is 84 and had been a smoker since the age of 12 (despite burying a husband and son too lung cancer) She never ever even mentioned packing in the coughing nails, untill a couple of months ago. She had been reading about a thing called "Nicogel" and she asked me to get on line and order her the trial pack. Any way these arrived and she managed to cut down on her smoking. So she asked me to order her a hundred capsules. By a stroke of luck these happened to be on offer for a tenner.

Using these she has managed to pack up the fags after 72 years. She asked me to buy her another hundred the other day but the offer was over and these would have cost about 25 notes plus P+P. Given this and "Nochex" not allowing me to sign in,I gave Ebay a shot and managed to get a hundred for ?4 plus P+P.

I know that alot of people plan to pack up the fags at new years and I know from bitter experiance just how tricky it can be. So thought it might be worth a mention. If you are planning to give up at Midnight tomorrow,I wish you well.

Oh and i believe they are available from Tesco and Superdrug if you fancy picking up a pack tomorrow.

Happy new year all

BB

some sensible organisations are saying party hard and a couple of weeks into the new year make the resolution come true

you know how it is,you decide to quit and fail and then throw it all in

new years eve or any other celebratory time of the year is the worst time to try and quit anything,be it smoking, drinking, casual sex with multiple partners etc

But still worth keeping this stuff in mind.

Here in the U.K now is about the best time of year to pack in the fags. No fun standing out side at work having a quick drag...all though like a prick,I will be !idontbelieveit!
