The only pirate station I can recall Sir is 'Radio Caroline'.

They played oldies all day Sundays Lily The Pink was overplayed imo

oh crap ! yeah ! those were the days, doing a summer job back in '84 driving a mercedes Sprinter van full of light fittings between London and Plymouth every day along the A303 and blasting out Laser 558 !happy!

then there was Atlantic 252, now anyone remember them ?

No, transmitter was located on the east coast of the Republic of Ireland.

In fact it still is but now carrying programmes from RTE.
