He's a good fielder that's about it.
England were awful in the first two games against the Kiwis. This was clearly demonstrated by the sheer number of idiotic run outs.
England should be whipping their (Kiwis) backsides! If they are unable to beat them in the remaining ODIs and in the test series, it will prove - yet again - that despite the Murdoch millions being pumped in the English game they're STILL shite.

I think the kids got talent, just think it's too soon for him to step up to this level and the pressure is showing. Think a couple of tours as captain of the A side would do him good

Re: england cricket
I have to agree with Diplo here in that I also think he isn't quite ready.
He's also had the pleasure of the English press putting him on a pedestal when he wasn't ready for it and hadn't deserved those accolades.
This is something our press seem to specialise in.
He's an excellent talent but not quite there yet but he has a bloody good chance of doing so provided too much isn't expected of him too soon.

I agree, don't expect miracles then discard him if he doesn't deliver. England didn't see the best of Matthew Maynard, one of the best batsmen of his era because they didn't give him a chance to adapt to international cricket.
