As a witness at the inquest it's meant to be his opportunity to say what he saw or heard, not what he feels. He could feel the moon was made out of green cheese and it wouldn't mean jack. I think his theory that the Duke of Edinburgh ordered a hit on Diana is ludicrous, and for him to say the Duke is a Nazi and should go back to Germany is a bit rich coming from an Egyptian who has done very well out of Britain. Phil served in the Royal Navy throughout the war, so I think he knows a bit about how to kill Germans and Nazis, but I just find the idea he had Diana killed is absurd.

I'm not British. Nevertheless, I am disgusted by the utterances of Mr. al-Fayed. In the good old times, this man would have been sent to the Tower, and what else! But these times are over. Nowadays, he will stay in England, unharmed, rich as he his, and probably carry on his crusade against the Royals. In which world do we live!

Well, despite every white english person being taught to believe they are (subconciously or otherwise) inherantly racist, we do seem to welcome foreigners with open arms, and allow them to behave however they wish and say what they wish and to prosper to their own ends
I aren't the biggest fan of the Royals - so often the architects of their own downfall - and considered Diana to be the embodiment of pitifull crocodiel tears self-obsession and thus a pious phony, and in a way admire the wee mans courage of his convictions but can you imagine an english person settling in Egypt (or any arab state) and making such public accusations about their heads of state?
The Egyptian has worked his way into the history books forever though with todays spectacle - very entertaining - but for all the wrong reasons. In his head he's walked into court and told the world shocking revelations, but in truth he's shown the world he needs sectioning - quite literally ranting and raving like a madman. All that name-calling simply made him appear infantile.... where's Spitting Image when you need it????
