A church on a hill

Post by colonel »

I've just been for a spring drive to the church where John Bonham is laid to rest. No mention he was a musician on his gravestone- but the amount of drumsticks, coins and for some reason, bottles of scotch around the stone kinda gives the game away.

The church will never need to hold a roof repair or restoration appeal, given what the donations must be like- the visitors book is like a Zeppelin convention.

Daffs and snowdrops in the churchyard- and a lovely pub to call at on the way home to have a drink and a cob. And, as the man would have wanted, I drove at 86mph at one point back up the M5.
