Helllooooooo all.
Looks like my video camera has filmed its last scene. Its done me well that little thing and its seen its fair share of porn since i got it about 4 years ago.
Im after some opinions here tho if u will gents (and ladies).
Its only the heads that appear to be fucked up so i can put it in for repair - i havent had a quote yet and will cost ?40 for them just to look at it.
I have no idea how much this is likely to cost but.... considering my days of filming are pretty much over i could just buy a new consumer camera. Im sure they go for about ?350 in argos (maybe somone can confirm). I dont need it to be broadcast quality anymore and i will only use it for the odd custom vid or uploading old footage onto my PC from DV tape.
Any thoughts??
Should i repair it or buy new?

Re: Sandie What are you up to
ive opened up my own online sex shop jonboy (see below).
Im still modeling but on a part time basis now and eventually will quit altogether. so no not leaving but moving into different areas in the business.
BTW i got a great little camcorder off ebay for ?80 in the end. ive put my broken one up there too and that seems to have gotten alot of interest so hopefully will cover the cost of the new one.

Re: repair it or buy new?
Seems not much low end stuff is repairable these days. I had a problem with my printer. ?120 to repair it, or they'd sell me a new one for ?118!
We have need of you again, great king.

.if you spend ?400 on a camera do you not think it should work for at least 4 years?.Consumer Law dictates the item should be good for its purpose and most courts direct that to be 5 years.Get it repaired send the retailer the bill and if they say its out of warrantee take out a summons at the local small claims court. You will win and get your costs back. Its a disgrace that people are conned into buying costly warrantees by rip off retailers like Currys Computer World Argos etc.Trading standards a bunch of half wits on this issue.
