Did anyone remember he put up his money towards a film that didn't last a week at the cinemas?
OK! The movie was called Storeditch.
It was removed from cinemas a week after its initial release due to poor box office returns and critical reception
Shane Richie spent ?500,000 of his own money (he had to re-mortgage his house to put money into this project) to make this film and when it was released it showed in 2 cinemas and got an audience of 300 people making ?2,272 in its first week of release then it closed.
Which comes to show that the movie was shit!
