Internet movies

Post by Jason »

I have discovered a number of pay sites which are offering high quality downloads of complete porn movies including a number of UK movies. These are not 1Mb unwatchable / 2 minute grainy movies but are full screen 600MB+ / 60 minute Divx jobbies.

What is the legality of this? Do these guys pay the studios for the distribution rights of these movies or is it just plain piracy?

There is one site in particular (which I am a member of) which has in excess of 2,500GB of downloadable movies most of which are mainstream US, Euro and UK released porn flicks.

Tks

It's a murky area, I mean how legal are porn DVD and videos mail order suppliers, when for example videos are just duplicated endlessly on home video recorders ?

Surely we have to use our own judgement and conscience here. For christ sake tell us which site it is.

Are these `streaming vids`? if so how long is the buffer time at 10mb/min....even on broadband?
Also can you save the files to your hard drive?

Does anyone else have any info on whether or not internet movies are a sensible proposition for broadband

If the movie is in DivX then thats a full hour and a half of movie in around 650mb (depends on compression codec)- great to download if you have broadband not great for dial up. (By the way DivX is about 7.5 on a quality scale if DVD is a 10, VHS is about 2.5)

It is also possible to save streaming media if you use FlyCap software - its free and has no restrictions on use.

Now please what is the name of the site?
