Should have got Rock Band endless content to download and the guitar is more guitar like and user friendly. I have both and haven?t played guitar Hero 3 ever since I got Rock band. Plus Rock Band has more variation music it?s not just Rock.

Yeah it is. You can take your pick at any instrument (microphone, drums, guitar and you can switch to bass on same guitar). I got box set. Only thing is its sold separate from the game but if you?re a die hard fan of these games then it?s worth it. Your best bet is to search around yourself at prises. Amazon is a good place to start. What really is cool in the download section of the game is they put full albums on as well as compilations. I have it for the 360 but its out on both systems.

Looks like the guitar hero team is doing the same thing for the next game too. Here?s a link to some news on guitar hero 4.

regarding the guitar did you start off in the practice area getting the strum technique right and the hammer ons and pull offs sorted or did you just jump straight into the songs and hope for the best

Do yourself a favour and get a REAL guitar!!!!
To be honest, I'm decent on a guitar but tried the first Guitar Hero and couldn't muster it at all, but when I plugged my stratocaster in, and played a real guitar, THAT I could muster

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

I can play guitar also but my friends can?t so it?s just some good old fun with my mates. I just jumped in and played it on hard and hoped for the best which was pretty hard to be honest I struggled with 1 song Run to the hills by Iron Madden (rock band).

I played the first guitar hero years a go and I had the same problem but ever since I learnt to use my pinkie on the real thing I don?t seem to struggle. I can?t really give any tips as I don?t have any.
