"A spokesman for the Beijing Olympics has announced that they have set up a 'gender determination lab' to test female athletes suspected of being male. Experts at the lab will evaluate athletes based on their physical appearance and take blood samples to test hormones, genes and chromosomes. 'It's extremely prestigious for China to host the Olympics' said Union Medical College Hospital's Professor Tian Qinjie, 'so we would not want the occasion spoilt by one of the events being won by a cross-dresser."
