singapore airbus A380

Post by Von Boy »

Just completed a flight from singapore to uk on the new giant a380 !!!....what a great aircraft....

i flew in economy, but the seats were far bigger and better than anything before....it was quiet, even at the rear and unless you looked out of the window you had no feeling of flying ! If someone has a fear of flying then thats the aircraft to get on, as its smooth and quiet.

The on board entertainment via the seat back screens was easy to use and the selection was very good.

Even the toilets had a window !!!

oh well back to ryanair lot and the usual way !

!thumbsup!

I reckon some of the smaller airplanes operated by the likes of RyanAir and EasyJet are some of the noisiest on the scene. I think they've un-mothballed 40 year old planes for the el-cheapo experience, accompanied by a 100dB roar all through the flight. I've never noticed this annoying feature on larger trans-Atlantic aircraft, they're usually reasonably quiet.

With recent events in Spain in mind I wonder how the World will react to the first crash which would, If it was fully occupied be the biggest single loss of life in aviation history.

I know Ryanair are cheap but the Irish boss seems to think that his customers are cattle.Appalling service and a very cavalier attitude. However, cheap.. which is why he makes money..shame he cant take some lessons in customer delight..baaaa baaaa.....baaaaa..

These budget airlines are getting away with loads of cons. ?10 to check in a bag, ?10 to pre-book a seat, ?10 for a drink and a sandwich - they're a bunch of cunts. The last time I caught a Jet2 flight they were trying to charge the man in front of me over ?200 for excess baggage --- it must be, you've guessed it. ?10 a kg :)
