Taping off UK Adult channels?

Is it possible?

Tried this once yonks ago with Red Hot, turned out to be a complete waste of time as you have to re-enter your password everytime there's a commerial break. So forget taping overnight viewing, you'll get about ten minutes of action and about three hours 50 minutes of blue screen.


Also tried it recently with Sky 18+ movies and turned out that channel is semi encrypted with some kind of anti recording software which picks up if a vcr is recording and distorts the picture accordingly.


Seems so unfair - if I pays me money surely I should be able to tape a show to watch the following day - surely no different to taping football matches that I pay to watch?


So are there any adult channels on Sky Digital that permit recording?

Another reason why never to get Sky. I can record Hustler TV and Private Spice with no problem, European channels don't out the same restrictions on.

I used to record TVX & TAC/Playboy just fine. Need to edit the mountain of tapes into dvd's sometime with all the good stuff on.....
