I remember Martin Sheen's first appearance on my radar in 1974 in a TV movie called the California Kid. He was a hot-rod driver avenging the death of his brother at the hands of a red-neck sherrif. On checking the IMDB it seems he'd been in dozens of things before that. Just shows how much attention I used to pay in those days. Still like the C.K. though.
