It always amazes me how breasts exposed seem to offend so many.

As for protecting the children; people should grow up and recognise that it is a female body part. Whats the big deal?

censorship of this kind says as much about the people that impose bans than it does on the people it purports to protect.

Breast feeding isnt exactly porn is it? Why are so many people uncomfortable with it? Why is it so offensive?

I find its not the act itself, it seems some/a lot of those who do it are more about making a political statement than actually feeding the child. They seek out the most public place to do it in, probably hoping someone will object or cast a disapproving glance in their direction so they can have a stand up row with someone about motherhood and its natural and how great a woman she is and all men are bastards..............

And no, I don't want to see it when I'm out socially. I deliberately ask for tables in the minor restaurants (in the old days) "no smoking, no kids". I don't want to be sat on the next table to someone feeding their kid of any age.

I appreciate your point of view Peter and the point you made is quite clear. You dont like it so you do something to avoid it. Which is fair. I dont particularly want to see it but if its there it doesnt bother me.

I do see your point though that some women are using it to make it a political point.

It don't bother me either but for a woman to say all men are whatever I don't get it unless they figure men secretly see something sexual about it and we are perverts. I've always seen it as natural BUT I've always thought they could be more discreet about it.

People sexually gratifying themselves is poles apart from feeding the baby and shouldnt even be in the same category...But I hear you though.

Farting and belching would be more along the right lines, in that all of us do it, its a perfectly natural act, but most of us would excuse ourselves from the table and do it out of the way.
