Does America REALLY not know where Bin Laden is?
Think about it. The worlds most wanted man, who the Americans have supposedly been looking for for over 7 years, and yet they have no idea where he is? Osama releases videos from time to time, audio commentary, the CIA have a "Bin Laden Unit", yet they apparently can't find him. Technology is such now that you can establish where someone was, within a few metres, if they use a mobile phone, yet no one can find Osama (apparently). All this sounds rather iffy to me. How can they not have found him after all these years and with all this effort. What do other people think?

He uses pay as you go.

Knowing the general area he is in and specifically where he is are two different things. For the latter, a black ops team could take care of it, for the former, it would be effectively be a military incursion/invasion of Pakistan if he is hiding in the mountainous region on the Pakistan border.
We have need of you again, great king.

Apparently Al Queda is run as a group of individual units that dont operate as one (it's been described as being like a load of "McDonald's franchises"). Therefore if Osama was killed the organisation would just continue without him. The border area he is supposedly hiding in is vast, but if they can track schools of fish moving in the ocean from satelites then they could find him and his posse there. The fact that region is barely inhabited would make it even easier to find him as he and his buddies would be the only ones moving around so the satelites could easily detect them.

Tracking fish movements and finding fugitives are two completely different things, max.
Google the FBIs Most Wanted list, and you'll see that some of the guys on there have been on there for years / decades.
If it were that easy, there wouldn't be a Most Wanted list. Hell, there wouldn't even be any fugitives from the law - anywhere!!
And as Peter correctly points out, Knowing roughly where he is to knowing exactly where he is are two different things also. Besides which, a lot of his communication is done by couriers (apparently).
In any case, there are probably more immediate threats than Bin Laden, who's largely a figurehead posterboy for Islamofascist extremists everywhere.
The (the Americans) probably think that sure, it would be a very nice 'bonus' to track him down and land an air strike on him, but they have other fish to fry as well.

So can you get a big Al'Queda burger with fries now?

Even if they did, its largely irrelevant.
First of all, Bin Laden was disowned by his family years ago.
And secondly, are the brothers and sisters of the Yorkshire Ripper (assuming for the sake of argument that he has some) guilty of his crimes too - simply on the basis of being related to him?

I find it very difficult to believe with the powers of the mighty US government that they cant find some bearded bloke in sandals in the hills of Afghanistan or wherever he is and Ill go with swampthing about the "who will be th eboogey man" because I believe the US is using this reign of terror thing to manipulate and control its own citizens.
Its a master stroke when you think about it and so much evidence points to it...Including the Zeitgeist Movie which raised some very interesting answers surrounding the 911 event.
Whether its right or wrong, something definitely smells dodgy about Osama Bin Laden, his family and the US protecting his family.
You'd think the US would hold them in the country with the fact the 9/11 atrocity is an act of war.
