I dont know what the first British R18 to be released was but it could have been a Ben Dover because he had been shooting hard several years before R18s bacame legal in the UK and would have plenty of material ready for release, but there again so did a lot of other peop;e so who knows !wink!

It does intrigue me who the first girl was who said, in 2000, "it's legal now and I so want to do it, I'll seek out a film maker and ask him if I can star in a flick!". I notice someone said above that it never became legal but it has been allowed since 2000 because of a ruling by a Judge, so perhaps 'permitted since 2000' would be a better way of putting it but it amounts to the same thing.
