cant help but think west brom and middlesbrough are already doomed.
Think Shearers appointment will prove vital for the geordies, which leaves me with either sunderland or blackburn for the drop.....
what 3 are going down this season???
Re: what 3 are going down this season???
West Brom are a given.
Boro probably not sure about Newcastle the fixtures they have look hard even with Shearers influence.

According to the teletext which doubtless took if from a paper (so it might be unreliable) Shearer is on 1 million for eight games and a further 1 million to keep them up. That's some incentive !

West Brom 'cos they're crap
And if I could choose
Newcastle would be so funny
Blackburn because of Allardyce's anti-football

Newcastle really are in for a major scrap if they want to stay up. Can only see relegation for this lot and 50,000 geordies crying their eyes out next month and Shearer trying to gee them all up with some "We'll be back" type speech!
West Brom are absolutely fucking dire and deserve the drop in my opinion. Think Boro have dropped too many points realistically to stay up but they could also be the great escape club this year too. I'd love to see Blackburn go or Stoke though but think these two will scrape it.

All 3 North East teams dropping would be a massive blow for the areas economy. I can see the Mackems surviving, the other 2 are doomed. West Brom haven't spent the money they promised they would to stay up so hard cheese.

West Brom
Stoke
Hull
I hope i am wrong with this, and at least one if not two of the promoted teams stay up otherwise it does not say much for the Championship.
Unfortunately looking at this seasons Championship the teams that could come up are very poor in fact crap and will probably come straight back down

Re: what 3 are going down this season???
i dunno
if birmingham come straight back up they should financially be able to compete with at least the blackburns/middlesbroughs of this world.
Reading could have that rocketing 1st season they had last time out.
But agreed it is extremely tough for sides like sheff utd/cardiff/wolves to make much impression on the league because they are essentially equiped for championship football and have to completely restructure themselves to compete at the highest level.
You need at least 30million quids worth of new faces just to give yourself a chance nowadays!
