George Best Film last night
Re: George Best Film last night
Yes, thought it was generally okay. I don't think he lived with Mrs Fulloway in Manchester for as long as was suggested by the film. Also, I can't understand why they decided to use The Ramones' 'Blitzkreig Bop' in the midst of a load of 60s period tunes.
Re: George Best Film last night
It was set in 1966 at first wasnt it ?
Re: George Best Film last night
Yes, to be fair to them they did say they had played around with the chronology so it started in 1966 and quickly moved on to the European Cup Final of 1968. Even by 66 Best had been in Manchester for 4/5 years I think.
