John Cruddas..Labour's only hope

Post by mrmcfister »

The Tories are 1/7 to win the next election.Brown is a liability and no doubt even his cronies will be out to rid him of power. He is dead man walking personified.Cruddas would turn it all around. The country needs a change otherwise Labour are out of power for a decade at least.

I find it quite funny to see Brown slowing sinking in the mire of his own making.

For years he sat behind Blair, waiting for him to go, thinking being PM was an "easy" job.

He was chancellor during a particularly "easy" period in the world economy, which some people mistook for him doing a good job.

But many of us realised he WAS NOT doing a good job, selling half our gold reserves at a loss being one example.

He then got the "big job", but we all soon realised that he was just not up to it (as did the MPs in his party).

The storm is gradually brewing, and once your own party start turning against you (as they are now) you have not got long.

Blair must be sitting there laughing at Brown saying "you wanted it".

Surely Brown will go down as one of our worst prime mnisters EVER.

If most knew he wasn't "doing a good job" wouldn't a little bit more happened?

Would the banks and especially those once employed in them who are now quite rightly out of work not have said anything?

Perhaps those who invested in Iceland etc especially the Tory investors wouldn't have if they had your skills at knowing that he wasn't "doing a good job".

I am not sure if Brown will go down as our worse PM EVER that will always be reserved for the bloke who returned from Germany waving a piece of paper, as far as I am concerned, but thanks to the media and some very bad advice he will go down as a poor one.

He's fucked if truth be told because whatever he does if it achieves anything will now be seen as a gimmick and if it fails or even looks bad in front of camera will be seen as another nail for his coffin.

I appreciate that you find it funny to see him sinking but it saddens me that such an expert on global financal markets chose to write on a porn forum about a crisis very few others could predict.

If I'd known about them with such knowledge I would have been asking my MP for answers at an absolute minimum in 2003.

Alan Johnson would be much better for Labour.

It will come down to whoever does the best deals with Rupert Murdoch, a man who isn't British, cant vote here and pays no tax here. Tony Blair had secret meetings (later exposed by the Tories) with Murdoch, a few months before the 1997 general election. Blair was told by Murdoch that if he promised not to join the European Single Currency - and he also promised Murdoch other things that would help his business empire here - then The Sun newspaper would back him. And that is what happened. Within a few days The Sun's front page said "WE BACK BLAIR", and this carried on daily up till the election. On election day there was a large picture of Blair and the words "IT SHOULD BE YOU!" and an arrowing pointing to him (this slogan was a take on the National Lotttery's slogan). Someone should shoot Rupert Murdoch - a vile and very arrogant man!

AFTER the global credit crisis it turns out that one guy who was working INSIDE the banking industry to report on upcoming problems predicted the coming credit crunch.

But nobody wanted to listen. As long as the bankers were getting their big bonuses they thought it would all carry on for ever.

People only listen AFTER the disaster, not before.

When Brown took over, none of the labour MPs was going to say anything "bad" about him for fear of being seen to rock the boat.

Funny that now all of a sudden a few MPs here and there are saying things, as they can see a disaster for labour at the next election.

When Brown goes you see how many MPs say "I knew he was not going to be any good when he became PM".
