Woman facing execution in Laos

Post by one eyed jack »

So what make you of this ladies and gentlemen of the BGAFD jury?

Normally I have no sympathy for anyone caught trafficking drugs in a country that is notorious for executing such offenders but Im hesitant because the person this time is pregnant.

Even if they allow a stay of execution for the baby to be born Im wondering will they still put the mother to death anyway just to send a strong message out that no one will be given leniency for this crime.

Tough one this...Plus she has said it wasnt her drugs etc. if this can be proved then great but if not. What to do?

If she's guilty, (and the kerfuffle seems to be around wether she'll get a fair trial), the she takes the punishment. Their country, their rules.

I've heard on sky news that it is a mixed jail , and that her pregnancy was down to rape .
Like seems to be the norm' now whether guilty or not doesn't seem to be questioned all the interest seems to be down to a fair trial or not , but i can't see that happening if they won't let anyone from the british consul see her or indeed a lawyer . JJ .

Let's hope she gets at least 10 years minimum, otherwise she'll be back here selling the story through assholes like Max Clifford and making millions:'My Sex Hell in Laos Prison', 'I was Framed' Hello exclusive - first pictures of the returning low-life etc. etc. She's assured of celebrity status should they let her go.

Hey Johnny, I'd be doing the same if I was innocent...I'd be doing the same if I was guilty too.

Make that mo-nay! lets not get all high and mighty and moralistic when it comes to making money JH...Would you rather she made it by selling drugs or off the media who ironically never have money to pay people for participating in their shows but somehow stump up thousands to get a story.

Then theres the book and film rights if she is really smart.

Sounds like fair compensation if she was indeed a victim of circumstance.

Personally I think her experience is punishment enough being in that prison and if she was raped there then all the more reason to tear this opportunity a new arsehole for money.

Dont forget Johnny, you can make money out of the system too if you play your cards right
