When I open my website and click on the new feeds icon in Internet Explorer it says no new feeds detected, this is a sign that no new content has been added. I add new content every day, a gallery every day in fact. Anyone know why?

Re: Internet Explorer False info
You need to create a RSS feed for your site, then have it identified in your page.
For instance the bbcfc's RSS feed can be viewed here http://www.bbfc.co.uk/recent/rss.php
Some html you will need so its shows up automatically as a feed in browsers is

Just ignore it, Mike.
"Feeds" has nothing to do with whether or not there is new content.

Steve,
But as the majority of surfers use IE there is a danger of them just clicking this little button and believing it!

Nope, you must first generate a RSS file that includes all your latest updates, this must conform to the RSS standard and needs to be updated with your content.....you can either do this manually or write an application to automatically do it, there may even be programs which do it for you. If you follow the link i posted for the BBC, you can see their RSS files as an example.

Then once you have the Valid RSS file, you then need to reference it in your corresponding HTML files, via using a link like i posted in my original post.
