MP claims for a floating duck house...

David Cameron has 'retired' one of his MP's who claimed for a five-foot tall floating duck house. He claimed ?1,700 for this thing, has claimed ?30,000 for gardening over the years, and has also claimed for the cost of 28 tons of manure. He claims that the floating duck house is essential for stopping ducks being attacked by foxes, therefore it is entirely justified to get the public to pay for it! Cameron said if this man, who is called Peter Viggers, didn't quit Cameron would withdraw the Party Whip and chuck him out. This all proves that people in Parliament couldn't give a damn about public money, fleece the public purse to the maximum, and are basically 10 times as cynical and uncaring as a Benefits fraudster. I agree with what Billy Bragg once said: "I think everyone who wants to get involved in Politics should be banned from the job." This guy is a scumbag! How can people be expected to feel guilty about ripping off the Welfare State when MP's do it even worse - and that is all money from the public aswell? Bad, bad people.

And ducks being attacked by foxes prevents you from carrying out your duties as an MP how exactly?

It is annoying that this guy will immediately get a much higher salary with a job heading up some quango or committee, which he doesn't deserve, but what have got as he has friends in high places. Like I said on another thread about the Speaker Michael Martin, these people never lose.
