The new series of Big Brother...

Post by max_tranmere »

I've just watched the opening episode. Most of the show was standard fare really: McCall gurning at the camera; a collection of weirdo's, oddballs, bimbos, and so on, arriving in the house. An interesting twist this year: none of them are 'in' as such, they have to earn the right to become housemates. They all physically walked into the house but McCall, when she stopped gurning long enough to speak, said they are 'tenants' and have to carry out certain tasks to win the right to become fully-fledged 'housemates'.

Two of them did: one had to find another person who would be willing to have their eyebrows shaved off (!), and have a pair of glasses and a moustache painted on their face. This guy found one of the others who agreed, he de-eyebrowed her with a shaver, and painted a 'tashe on her face! Those two are now safe and are proper housemates. There are apparently going to be more of these challenges for people to earn the right to graduate from tenants to housemates in the coming days. Did anyone else see it tonight, and what did you think?

Lol.... I knew last night that when I came back here you would have posted something on BB10.

I'll not bother, as usual, unless there's a decent bird in it.

I'm sure I'll get to find out everything that happens in the house from you, Max! !laugh!

At least the car park would be bigger. But its continued presence helps to keep the studio going, which is not a bad thing.

10 years later and it is still going strong. There is an interesting formula to success that really works with the british public.

Give them something they love and loathe and it wil be an instant success.

10 years later and Big Brother is still going chooo-chooooo! All aboard now!

More interesting its better to be talked about than not talked about at all.

Thanks for letting me know its back on. Yay!
