I'm saving greenhouse gases by having a 'Don't water your tomatoes Wednesday' that way if I don't open the greenhouse door none of the gas escapes = planet saved.

McCartney worries about climate change? This is from a man who flies all over the world in highly poluting aircraft and has no conscience about doing so. He goes on very highly poluting world tours - imagine the carbon footprint from one of those - and he has no care about what that does to the planet. All these celebs who go on about climate change, yet polute and dont care about it, themselves. Like Emma Thompson's campaign to stop the third runway at Heathrow Airport, something which is being built to enable people like her, who fly a lot more than most people, to be able to fly when they want - rather than for airline travel to have to be rationed like it would be if they didn't build capacity up to the level of demand. A few weeks after Emma Thompson went on about how the third runway shouldnt be built, she was filmed at the Oscars in Los Angeles. I wonder how she got there. Did she row in a boat perhaps? Or possibly hang-glided 6,000 miles? I think she probably went by plane...

I dont see how having a meat free day will change the climate, when people who eat meat buy it readily bred, killed and cut. All that would happen is that the meat would stay on the shelves in the supermarkets and go spoilt. So the animal would have died for nothing.

Everyone has the right to be decide if they want to be a vegetarian, but i cannot stand the self-righteousness of some who think they are better than me for not eating meat. Yes i know i can be healthy without needing to eat meat, but thats not the reason i eat meat. I eat meat becuase it tastes good.

I have a way of dealing with them now - Whenever some vegetarian tries to convince me not to eat meat, i politely tell them that if they persist, i will go out of my way to eat something made of meat (no jokes haha). Shuts most of them right up!

Don't worry. With stem cell research we should -hopefully- be able to cultivate our own cuts of meat without the need of livestock farting us into an Armageddon.

If we can then follow that up with stopping lazy cunts driving everywhere then we might just make the world a better place.
