Tranmere on E-bay

Post by Vosmith »

I heard this story on the way home this afternoon. The Chairman was being interviewed about the club being put up for sale on E-bay by the company he had charged with finding a buyer. He was not happy to say the least - 'We're a football club, not a second-hand bike!', or words to that effect.

Do you have a link so I can make a bid or two as always fancied owning a small English Town to go with my remote Scottish Island ...

PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

It had already been removed when the interview took place this afternoon. I think they mentioned a $10million reserve which the chairman worked out to be about the amount of debt the club owed him.
