I make my own chicken liver pate but I've never heard of Chilli Jam. A quick google has thrown up a couple of recipes so it does sound like an interesting combination.

I'd prefer sitting with a few Stellas and just chilling but I have to appear at my sisters house for the "feed". To be honest the grub is good but this year there will be a new addition, born a few weeks ago, and I can do without a baby shitting, spewing and crying for 4 hours.
Not exactly in the spirit but there you have it.

I've found a recipe online and the jam and pate are cooling as I type. My pate usually turns out OK but I couldn't get all the correct ingredients for the jam so I had to improvise. To be honest it doesn't smell too great but maybe when it cools it could be better.

Thanks for the offer but it might turn out all right yet.
My recipe such as it is for pate
Chicken livers, loads of butter, some unsmoked bacon, garlic, chopped onions, mushrooms, season to taste and a good slug of brandy when you?re liquidising.
I have the correct quantities somewhere but I just sort of sling it all together now and it usually turns out fine.
