I need your input please on proposed name change

Post by craigweb »

Hi,

We recently asked our Find An Amateur members on their opinion regarding a site name change for

www.findanamateur.com.

I would really appreciate your input aswell on the following 3 three questions.

1 - Do you think yourself and (or) other internet users would use the site MORE if the name was changed?

2 - What features could we add to the site which would make you use it more?

3 - Please let me know which one of the following you like the most?

www.yoursexengine.com

www.adultwebworkers.com

www.oursexengine.com

www.suburbanporn.com

www.pornshopz.com

www.knickerless.com

Stick with www.findanamateur.com

www.voyeursdirectory.com

www.adultblogger.com

www.girlieweb.com

Your help is key to helping us provide a website which offers what you need so please let me know.

Many thanks,

Craig

I have an issue when I see Amateur then charges to view.

For me Amateur means something done without pay so when there is a charge I stay well clear.

That said in direct response to your main question I can't see the need for a name change so the advice I would give is ask yourself why you feel the need to change and then look at those issues.

Poor sign ups could just be down to not knowing your site exists which suggests you then need to look at how you're promoting yourself, perhaps even researching who your competitors are and why they are successful.

As this is a UK site you may also want to look at the prices being in $ and the cards you accept.

You may also want to look at your search engine and ask why when using the UK option and putting a UK local postcode in that USA sites come up.

I'd be worried that a London site came in the closet listed returns for a northern town postcode but a 'local site' that is in the USA suggests problems.

The reason with that being a problem being, if I was a UK site operator, I'd want to know why USA sites are coming above UK listings.
