Do people actually read newsapapers anymore?

I would take any expose from the NOTW with a pincjh of salt. Is it true? Maybe, but such is my distrust for the printed media these days Im not surprised why people think they are reading the truth just because it is there officially in print.

That paper is meant for sheep and light entertainment and therein lies its success.

I also enjoy the hypocrisy of that tabloid where it purports to out the sleaze in our nation but then it is sleazy in itself telling it.

A bit like those right wing religious zealots who hammer on about porn only because they are guilty of cracking one out and feel duty bound to preach the divine word of the lord as aome kind of subconscious penence for their sin.

Many many years ago I used to go and visit my grandfather and grandmother on a Sunday for supper. The high spot of the visit was sneaking off to the bog with a copy of NOTW and hopefully a bit of "light" entertainment. You often got "tasteful" shots of Barbara Windsor and the like. Anyone can be in the papers if you don't mind your pic shown. They pay ?200-?300 a story true or not. I've done it meself. Easy money because as Terry says who gives a shit about newspapers anymore. They're full of as much bullshit as politicians !

Read this girl's account.Very probably true but it didn't mention her films.She wassaying how she liked the money but not the people paying her wages.She says she has made 300k..wonder if the tax man will read it too!
