Anyone know where we can acquire some of these mikes -or recommend an equvalent - Sony support just answers queries as being "unsupported" Thx Rock

Get a Senheiser K6.

I like Sony but I think their mics are not as good as Senheiser

It really depends on your budget as well. You could spend a good couple hundred on a mic but you will notice it especially on the waveform when it comes to sound editing
