Im living near the airport...I cannot understand the silence,sheer joy.
Even activity on the ground has stopped like running the engines...
Bring back the liners...where are you Queen Mary,Elizabeth and the rest.

...sure is one-eye.
And another day of peace.But what I miss most is the din from the airport itself,such as the constant revving of engines...
The planes are all parked up like toy's at Heathrow.

The knock on effect would be the lack of passengers on the underground.No falling over of cases.

It's a ghost town like the early days of flying by props.Sort of one plane an hour when Heathrow started in the 1940's after the war.While a couple of cows walked across the fields under the flight path.

Ah!happy days.

Because of the present shutdown in air travel Dover Ferry Port is working to full capacity, and to think this present goverment wants to sell it to the French to help pay off the national debt, a bit like selling the family silver i think !hmmm!
