Yes, an "illegal war" which your beloved Tory party never actually voted against!!!

As for all these benefits going to immigrants... are you sure you're a Tory and not BNP?

Have you thought how much of your tax goes to cover things such as corporate tax avoidance and other tax evasion schemes? Benefit fraud costs the government around a billion a year while tax fraud around ?15billion...and that last figure is very conservative. Some suggest it could be up to ?30billion. Next time you right that cheque you might like to ponder the probability that 15-30 times more of your money is going towards bigger yachts and country estates in the South of France, compared to 10 illegal immigrants in a single room.

It's interesting to read of how the Tories are viewed by some in the UK. In Oz, I notice a huge difference between the Labor Party's image and the reality.

For a party that is supposed to represent the 'common working man', it's most enthusiastic supporters come from the intellectual elites who openly detest the common man, whom they regard as uneducated philistines. These are the people who happily spend their entire lives living off government grants for studying things like "The phallic symbolism of power poles in modern society", while opposing the idea that anyone who actually makes or creates useful things should be allowed to profit from that activity. They just want you to work your arse off and pay most of it in tax because 'they' can appreciate it more than you!
